The Templestowe Park NAB AFL Auskick has been at Templestowe Reserve since 2004 when it moved from the grounds of Templestowe Park Primary School after many successful years there.
The last five Coordinators at Templestowe Park were:
- Mark Sundberg 2001 – 2002
- Wayne Slattery 2003-2004
- Craig Waldon 2005-2007
- Grant and Fiona Watson 2008-2010
- Carlo Colangelo 2011 to present
In the last 7 years Templestowe Park Auskick has grown and being recognised for it’s professionalism. Some awards that the clinic has been fortunate to receive are:
- Wayne Slattery – Victorian State Coordinator of the Year 2003
- Neil Butler – Oakleigh Region Coach of the Year and State Finalist 2003
- Mark Salomon – Oakleigh Region Coach of the Year and State Finalist 2005
- Craig Waldon – Oakleigh Region Coordinator of the Year 2007
- Bernard Cunningham – Oakleigh Region Coach of the Year 2007
- Fiona Watson – Oakleigh Region Female Coach of the Year 2009
- Michael Cotela – Oakleigh Region Coach of the Year 2009
These awards, whilst recognising individuals, are a credit to the professional approach that these and the many other volunteers take running the Auskick program for the children.
